Love is a fact of life. No one escapes its effect.
In this workshop based on her international best seller: Is It Love or Is It Addiction? , Dr. Schaeffer will share a seven-step process of moving from love addiction to a place of healthy belonging. She will explore addictive love as a response to trauma as well as the biological and psychological roots of addictive love. Dr. Schaeffer will demonstrate TA concepts as an effective treatment method.
By the end of the presentation participants will have learned:
Definitions of love, romance, and sex addiction.
The psychology of love addiction.
How trauma is related to addictive love.
The use of Transactional Analysis as a framework of understanding LA.
